3dfx Design, founded in 2005, provides AEC planning focused on the visual environment. 3dfx Design began in South Lake Tahoe addressing TRPA scenic quality regulations within the Basin.

Today 3dfx Design remains focused on the visual environment, offering a growing list of AEC planning services including FAA Certified Drone Photogrammetry, Visual Simulations, Visual Assessments, GIS mapping and CEQA / NEPA documents. The Principle, Aaron Souza, was born and raised in Northern California and called South Lake Tahoe home for several years. Being a Northern California native gives him an intimate understanding of rural northern California culture and Lake Tahoe Basin environmental issues.
